We have a special feline friend in need of our help, and her name is Madeline. Madeline has faced challenges with her breathing her entire life. Despite undergoing surgery for her cleft palate back in 2018, her breathing has progressively worsened over time. She often breathes through her mouth, and when she sneezes, discharge emerges from her eyes instead of her nose. Despite her challenges, Madeline has remained a beacon of love and companionship, touching the hearts of everyone she meets.

Our devoted team at Friends of Community-Cats Rescue has been by Madeline's side every step of the way, ensuring she receives the care and attention she deserves. We've taken her to the vet numerous times over the past year, and after much consultation, it's now imperative that Madeline undergoes further diagnostics to determine the root cause of her respiratory issues.

We've been advised by our trusted veterinarians to take Madeline to Vet Med Consultants in Holliday, UT, where she can undergo a rhinoscopy and CT scan. These diagnostic procedures are crucial in identifying the underlying issues affecting her breathing. However, the cost for these diagnostics is estimated at $3,600, a significant expense for our organization.

But that's not all. While Madeline is under anesthesia for the diagnostics, the veterinarians have recommended performing surgery on her nasal passages simultaneously, which could incur an additional $1,000 in expenses. This surgery could greatly improve Madeline's quality of life, allowing her to breathe more comfortably and live without constant respiratory distress.
