In 2 years our nation will celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. NYS is encouraging celebrations across the state. Folks from town and villages in and around Schaghticoke have begun to come together to organize a special celebration of our area and its historical places from 1776 to 2026. Currently we are a small group including historians- Chris Kelly and Linda Fecura Bunk and Gary George Viall, Community Life Support, and others. We are seeking others who would like to be part of this celebration's planning through time and talent as well as monetary support. Join us!
