I’m thrilled to share the launch of Latiné Theater Lab, a South Florida theater company celebrating Latiné stories through the transformative power of live performance. Our mission is to highlight the diversity of Latiné narratives, foster community engagement, and provide opportunities for local artists to shine.

For our inaugural season, we are producing two dynamic shows: Mud by María Irene Fornés and Last of the Red Hot Robots, a world premiere by South Florida playwright Brian Harris. Performances will take place at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale, starting May 2025 with Mud.

Our Goal: $31,000 to Launch Latiné Theater Lab & Fund Mud
We’re raising $31,000 to fund our inaugural season and bring impactful Latiné stories to South Florida. Thanks to a generous donation, Last of the Red Hot Robots is fully funded for Fall 2025. This campaign will cover the costs to produce Mud including:

Artist Salaries: $17,000
Set & Costume Materials: $4,000
Rehearsal & Theater Rental: $5,000
Administrative & Theatrical Rights: $3,000
Marketing: $2,000
