Hi, I'm Trevor! The writer, director and actor of Out of Order

'Out of Order' is a short thriller/horror about a man who makes a grave mistake and seeks redemption. This film is deeply personal and comes from a moment where I wish I could have been more courageous and shared my feelings with someone I truly cared about.

I'm working with a wonderfully talented team and this will be my final project in the US before I move to China! We're asking for your donations to create a film that can touch audiences and encourage them to speak the truth from their hearts.

Thank you so much for your consideration, love and support!

Out of Order is about a man who fears the consequences of truth after cheating on his wife. The morning after, he wakes remorseful and struggles with the truth. Trying to flee the scene of his infidelity, he finds himself trapped in a stairwell. Can he escape and make amends with his wife?

About 10 years ago, a friend's mom wanted to be a life coach and asked if I would be her guinea pig. At the time, I was selling car accessories in New Jersey and not enjoying it. I had nothing to lose, so I said yes. My first assignment was to answer the question: If you could wave a magic wand over your life, how would it change?

After I answered the question, how quickly my life changed! Within a few months I booked a commercial as a “real person” and started acting. I then found a passion for storytelling and started writing and directing. Since moving to New York, nine years ago, I’ve made 3 short films, won 5 awards and played at a combined total 34 film festivals around the world.

I feel so grateful to have found filmmaking and I've put in an immense amount of time, money, intention and emotion into the stories that I tell. These efforts pay off ten-fold when I see how my films make a difference/impact communities around the world.

Two years ago, I was at a film festival in Bali where I met a local artist named Nadia. We clicked and went for a coffee. That coffee never ended and she became my tour guide for the next couple of days. After the festival ended, Nadia invited me to a cabin in the mountains where I cooked her my favorite dishes and we explored the mountain together.

Even though I only knew her for a short time, we had a connection that was special. However, I had already concluded that she was too free spirited to be tied down and wouldn't be interested in anything more, so I didn’t ask.

I went back this year and tried to look her up, but couldn’t find her.

Sometimes I return to my own personal stairwell. During moments of solitude, my mind tends to wander back to the moments we had and the times I should’ve said something.

Out of Order is the direct result of developing the themes of mistake, remorse and redemption.
