You are invited to an evening of sizzling summer fun in the company of Kol Ami friends.

With the start of a new year, we are challenged to help to assure the ongoing stability of the congregation. You have consistently shown to share this goal, and for that we invite you to attend this very special dinner at OX Restaurant. Your reservation to attend, and any additional donation that you are able to make, will ignite 5786 brilliantly!

OX Restaurant finds inspiration in the wood-fired grilling tradition of Argentina, and with it, the culinary heritage of Spain, France and Italy. The name OX pays homage to the work animal that pulls the plough, tilling the soil and replenishing the land’s ability to produce its fruits, vegetables, and grains. Chef-owners Greg Denton and Gabrielle Quiñónez Denton received James Beard Award recognition as PNW Best Chefs in 2017 for OX and other restaurants they have owned. The Dentons refer to OX as a venue for 'ARGENTINE INSPIRED PORTLAND FOOD.' We’ll dine family-style, enjoying many of the chefs’ most notable dishes.

This evening is purely social, there is no “official business.” Please join us for a casual evening in a lovely space with noteworthy food and drink, knowledgeable service…and a de-light-ful guest list (because it includes YOU). We'll gather anytime after 5:30 pm to visit before we get seated; dinner service will begin at 6:30 pm. You are welcome to bring guests or forward this page to others who might like to attend. If you are unable to join us, any donation is greatly appreciated.
