Linda was born July 24, 1943, in Newton, Illinois, to Royal and Catherine Brooks. Linda married Gary Klebe on November 28, 1964, and lived for 13 years in Fort Madison, Iowa, where their four children were born. In 1978 they moved to Muscatine, Iowa to reside on the family farm Gary was raised on.
Linda was an amazing mom and role model. She loved to cook/bake and spend time in the garden. Linda loved to sew and made many beautiful quilts that her family will cherish for many years. Linda was an animal lover with an extreme fondness for her cats. Linda's grandchildren and great grandchildren loved playing cards, dominoes and playing video games on her phone with her. Linda's favorite job outside of the home was being a school bus driver for Muscatine Public Schools. She adored the kids on her route and would occasionally treat them to pizza and soda.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; her parents; and two younger brothers, Ron and David.
Left to honor her memory are her four children, Jeannette Hopson and partner, Scott, Michael Klebe and wife, Cindy, Kathleen Klinge and husband, Fred, and Bekkey Bierman and husband, Tony; her five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her brother, John Brooks; an extended family; and so many friends.
Linda, mom, grandma, and great grandma will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered.
