Hello! My name is Keenan Williamson. I am a senior at College Park Academy, an IMPACTdmv Ambassador, and an IYA2024 Scholar. IMPACTdmv has heavily altered my collegiate and career paths, as well as putting me in the right direction to achieve my biggest dreams. The end of my junior year was plagued with paranoia from the college application process. I felt pressured knowing I was not prepared for the stressful future. When IMPACTdmv came to my school, I felt relieved. Reading the brochure, I was mesmerized by the gigantic number of scholarship money attained by the previous class, on top of the expert collegiate consulting help. I applied that day and thankfully was admitted to be an IYA2024 scholar. IMPACTdmv has helped me write a fantastic personal statement that got me into my top schools, improved my leadership, writing, public speaking, and networking skills with fun and exciting workshops, helped me obtain $100K+ worth of scholarships, and aided me in creating a resume for internship positions relating to my career path. As I look forward to my transition from high school to college this fall, I look back on my development as an IMPACTdmv ambassador and scholar, wondering where I would be without their amazing assistance.
