On September 4th, 2020, we heard the words no parent ever wants to hear, "your child has cancer." Those four words completely changed our lives, and things would never be the same.

As a result, our son Dylan (who was 14 at the time) would receive six grueling and intense rounds of chemotherapy. All of his treatment would be in-patient, and he would end up spending over 115 days in the hospital from September 2020 to March 2021.

In April of 2021, we were blessed with the news that our son was in remission and was able to ring the bell signifying the end of his treatment on May 4th, 2021, exactly 8 months to the day that we learned of his diagnosis. 

We decided to start Fearless Fighters after our experiences and all that we had learned during that time. We recognize that many families in our situation need help in many ways. We also learned that research is severely underfunded for all pediatric cancers, and we are here to change that!
