Uganda Student Service Trip

Please consider supporting the service trip that we will embark on this May to share God’s love in the rural villages of Uganda, Africa! For the last several years, Dakota Wesleyan University students have been working alongside leaders in several Ugandan villages. Our primary goal, in cooperation with these Ugandans, is to build relationships and learn alongside AsOne leaders who are doing intentional work to create long-term sustainable growth and community building!

As our group of DWU students and young adults join AsOne’s work this summer, we will step into this community building mission alongside AsOne. We will plan and lead a summer camp for AsOne students in two different villages. We will deliver food to local families and spend time with them to learn about their experiences and challenges. We also intend to help by serving in the village clinics, learning from the local business startups, and joining the education of local farmers in AsOne’s model farms.
