See More Be More
Brian Frazier, inspired by his parents' commitment to helping the marginalized, began offering free video production classes in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2017. Despite lugging every piece of video equipment he owned on weekly 4-hour commutes, he dedicated himself to teaching these classes for two years with his own gear. Witnessing his students' success, he decided to expand the program to his hometown, South Bend. The motto "See More. Be More." emerged from his video trip to Antigua and became the guiding principle for his nonprofit, The Frazier Kid Foundation.
With significant donations, Frazier renovated the same space his parents once used to offer counseling, resume writing, and job placement help into a top notch production studio. After officially launching his foundation, it became clear that the mission was to introduce at-risk youth to careers in the arts and provide transformative experiences. Beyond video classes, the foundation awards scholarships, including the "See More, Be More scholarship" and the "Greg Frazier Essential Needs scholarship" in honor of Brian's late father. The foundation organizes HBCU college trips, panel discussions, college fairs, and collaborates with local organizations to support the community with food, clothes, and more.
Since its inception, The Frazier Kid Foundation has positively impacted hundreds of youth through free classes, covered over 1,000 college application fees, granted nearly $10,000 in scholarships, and exposed thousands of young people to life-changing experiences.
