The Allelon Center “Building”

Nearly 62,000 people live in The West End of Louisville, making it Kentucky’s third largest city. 58% of families in the West End live in poverty, compared to 24% in the Louisville Metro. The median household income in the West End is less than half of that in the greater Metro area. Not only is access to Christian counseling almost non-existent [the closest Biblical Counseling Center is 30+ minutes away], but affordability is a significant issue.

We believe distance and dollars should not deter people from access to excellent biblical counseling…..

Over the next 18 months, The Allelon Initiative will become the first established Christian Counseling Center in The West End. Serving West End families, we are fulfilling the Great Command, helping others learn to love the Lord their God, heart, soul, and mind.

Our prayer is to raise $250,000 in the next 18 months in an effort to:

• Buy and establish our Biblical Counseling Center
• Continue to cultivate and foster relationships with community partners [Schools, Churches, Businesses, Local Non-Profits]
• Onboard and unleash three Certified Christian Counselors.
• Continue the work of bringing excellent biblical counseling to hard-to-reach places
