Growing Good and Good Times - Stowe Mountain Bike Academy

Mission

Exciting News: We’re Becoming a Nonprofit! We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for our Stowe Mountain Bike Academy: we’re transitioning into a nonprofit organization! This shift is all about creating better opportunities for participation, growth, and sustainability —making mountain biking more accessible and providing bigger opportunities! Why Are We Becoming a Nonprofit? As a nonprofit, our mission will always be at the heart of everything we do. This transition allows us to: *Expand Access to Mountain Biking: By becoming a nonprofit, we can provide scholarships, equipment, and resources to riders who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate. *Grow Our Programs: We’ll have the ability to offer more clinics, group rides, educational programs, and get our talented racers to bigger competitions and venues! *Strengthen Community Support: Nonprofit status will allow us to apply for grants, accept tax-deductible donations, and partner with local businesses and organizations to amplify our impact. *Ensure Long-Term Sustainability: With additional funding and community support, we can expand facilities and reinvest in our staff through additional training and benefit programs. *Foster Leadership and Stewardship: Our nonprofit will focus not only on riding skills but also on mentoring, leadership development, and environmental stewardship, helping riders grow on and off the trails. We are a rider development program, dedicated to inspiring mountain bikers through skills, camaraderie, and adventure. Through all this - our mission stays the same! By developing riders of all ages and all styles, Stowe Mountain Bike Academy is committed to progressing the future of mountain biking.
