Veterans Day 2025: Keep Help Coming for Local Veterans

That’s what Richard, an Army veteran and former Assistant Chaplain wrote in his survey after our volunteers helped him clear his yard following a 3-day cleanup notice from his landlord.

When his request came in, our veteran volunteers quickly organized to help. Within days, a crew was there hauling items and removing debris so Richard could stay in his home. He told us afterward that he didn’t know what he would have done without us.
