Every December, as the holiday season begins, Veterans Supplemental Support Network (VSSN) opens the doors to Winter Wonderlane, a two-night holiday celebration that has become a beacon of joy and support for military and veteran families in Southern California.

In the heart of Riverside County and North County San Diego, Winter Wonderlane serves as a kickoff to the holiday season—but more than that, it is a reminder to families that they are seen, valued, and cared for. Each year, over 5,000 toys and 300 holiday treats are gifted to families who often carry the unseen weight of service and sacrifice.

✨ Two Nights, Two Themes, One Mission

Night One – Family Fun Fest
While families enjoy free food, jump zones, and entertainment, a quiet act of kindness happens behind the scenes. Volunteers secretly “stuff the trunks” of vehicles with toys for families who have expressed need. Parents and guardians return to their cars at the end of the night to find the magic of the holidays waiting for them.
Night Two – Jingle Cars
This theme night celebrates creativity and cheer with a festive holiday car showcase, games, and music. On this night, teens and tweens of military and veteran families—often overlooked during toy drives—receive gifts and recognition, ensuring no age group is left out of the holiday spirit.

Across both nights, families also have access to the Pink Peppermint Women’s & Young Ladies’ Health Lounge—a warm and inviting space designed to prioritize women’s wellness and connection during the busy holiday season.
