We’re so excited to launch Emmy Lights the Way’s inaugural fundraising campaign in the lead-up to our very first event on August 2nd at Ted’s in Point Lookout, NY!

At Emmy Lights the Way, our mission is deeply personal.

Inspired by Emerson, a sweet, sassy, 4-year-old with the most contagious smile – we exist to close the gap between need and access by providing children with physical disabilities the vital adaptive equipment that insurance may not cover. Think adaptive strollers, adaptive bikes, custom seating systems, and more, all designed to help kids move through their world with greater ease.

This work is rooted in love, lived experience, and the belief that no child should be held back simply because the system makes it hard to access what they need. Through advocacy, community support, and direct assistance, we’re here to help families navigate those gaps so kids can receive these essential pieces of equipment without delays, denials, or detours.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about equipment. It’s about giving children the freedom to grow, play, explore, & most importantly, just be kids.
