Project HEAL

Healing, Equity, Access, and Love

Project HEAL is a community-centered fundraising campaign created to honor the life of baby Marcellus and to ensure that families navigating unimaginable loss are not forced to do so alone.

Every year, families experiencing infant loss and unexpected death are met with overwhelming grief alongside immediate financial and logistical burdens—funeral arrangements, meals, transportation, and access to mental health support. For many families, especially those already facing systemic inequities, these moments are compounded by lack of access, resources, and culturally responsive care.

Project HEAL exists to change that.

Through this campaign, Marcellus’s Table will raise $10,000 to directly serve 50 families, providing compassionate, practical support during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Funds raised will support:

  • Funeral planning assistance and coordination

  • Shared meals and nourishment for grieving families

  • Access to grief-informed mental health resources

  • Navigation support and referrals tailored to each family’s needs

At its core, Project HEAL is about more than services—it is about presence, dignity, and love. Inspired by Marcellus’s story, this campaign affirms that no family should grieve in isolation, and that healing happens when communities come together around a table—listening, supporting, and holding space.

Your support helps transform loss into love, and grief into collective healing.
