SHAPE Skate Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

SHAPE stands for Skateboarding for Hope, Action, Progress, and Empowerment. We empower youth and young adults in the African diaspora and the U.S. by using skateboarding and the creative arts to build resilient communities, celebrate African culture, and develop the grit and perseverance needed to overcome adversity.

We believe every voice deserves to be heard and every future can be bright. We achieve this through our four core program initiatives:

Youth Empowerment – Mentorship: We equip the next generation with grit through on-the-ground skate programs, mentorship, and equipment drives.
- Your support funds: Event permits, safety gear, and stipends for local coaches.
Community & Cultural Exchange – Unity: We bring people together through dynamic skate events, competitions, and arts collaborations.
- Your support funds: Our annual Gala, African music & fashion exhibitions, and art-focused collaborations.
Infrastructure & Industry Development – Access: We build safe, inclusive spaces and foster a sustainable local skate industry.
- Our 2026 Goal: Raising $50,000 for the construction of the Abuja Skatepark project (November 2026) and supporting local skate shops.
Economic & Social Impact – Prosperity: We create pathways to economic empowerment and global representation for African skaters.
- Your support funds: Athlete travel and registration for Olympic qualifiers, and initiatives promoting skate tourism to drive local revenue.
