Open Design Collective is a nonprofit design practice rooted in the belief that place carries memory, identity, and possibility. Through planning, cultural preservation, and design, we work alongside communities to protect what matters, imagine what is possible, and shape built environments that reflect the people they serve.

Black history lives in the places we gather, the neighborhoods we call home, and the stories we carry forward. Sustaining these places and their possibilities takes people, time, and care, and your support builds the capacity that makes Open Design’s work possible. Every contribution helps our team work alongside communities to protect what matters, design what’s next, and strengthen places where generations can thrive.
