Join the Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter as we recognize and honor churches whose dedication and service have made a meaningful impact in reaching and serving the community. 2026 HONOREES are: Bright Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church- Laurinburg, NC, Centenary AME Zion Church-Lilesville. NC, City of Light Church-Rockingham, NC, Friendship OAWCOG- Laurinburg, NC, Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church-Fayetteville, NC, Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church- Laurel Hill, NC, Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church-Lumberton, NC, and Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Raeford, NC.

The Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter is composed of professional women in the fields of business, education, social work, public health, public service administration and other professions. The Zetas of Laurinburg, also known by its Greek Letter name Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta, began as a collective desire of 13 Zeta members to expand the vision, influence, principles and signature programs of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. into virtually uncharted areas. It was with that desire that our chapter was chartered on July 8, 2015.

The Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter seeks to ensure that we uphold our commitment to our founding principles of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood in the greatest regards, from high scholarly pursuits to financial support, closing the access and achievement gaps in Scotland County. The Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter provides services to Richmond and Scotland Counties through service projects such as: Adopt A School, Get Engaged (Social/Political Action program), Elder Care, Domestic Violence, Adopt A Highway, and Adopt A Street. Our current local initiative S.E.A.T.Z (Serving Elderly Adults Through Zeta), is a program that places benches in the community i.e., Market Park, Senior Living Facilities, and Dialysis Centers. The chapter also promotes and provides funding for the March of Dimes, St. Jude’s, American Cancer Society, and other local initiatives.

The Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter is reaching out to you today to ask for your financial support in a vital initiative that benefits our community. The Alpha Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter is dedicated to providing service to the Richmond and Scotland Counties. We rely on the generosity of community leaders like yourself to continue our mission. Your donation or sponsorship would significantly impact our ability to provide scholarships to students in the Scotland and Richmond County areas and to promote community activities/financial support and leadership development.
