The Volley Vortex Community Impact Campaign is raising funds because volleyball is about more than competition. It brings players, families, schools, clubs, businesses, and community partners together while creating opportunities for people to play, grow, connect, and feel like they belong.

Volley Vortex was created to build accessible, high-energy volleyball spaces that are organized, affordable, inclusive, and fun. Through tournaments, leagues, youth programs, clinics, open play, indoor open gyms, and community partnerships, Volley Vortex gives athletes of all ages and skill levels a place to compete, learn, build confidence, and find their people.

Funds raised through this campaign will help turn that mission into action by supporting youth development, affordable participation, school and volleyball-program needs, equipment, team expenses, family resources, and opportunities for more athletes to stay connected to the sport.

Current Fundraising Priorities

Piedmont Middle School Volleyball Program

The current school-focused fundraising priority is the Piedmont Middle School volleyball program. Funds raised will help support volleyball equipment, team expenses, and other program costs identified by the school and coach.

This partnership reflects Volley Vortex’s belief that young athletes deserve the opportunity to play, develop their skills, compete in a positive environment, and take pride in representing their school.

Killarney Elementary Families

The campaign will also support families connected to Killarney Elementary who may need food, school supplies, and basic home-learning supplies.

This effort recognizes that athletes and students are part of families and communities with needs that extend beyond the volleyball court. Supporting practical resources helps children focus, participate, learn, and feel supported.

Future Volleyball Community Support

Volley Vortex is also building toward a broader community-impact model that supports local volleyball clubs and youth programs.

Volleyball clubs and youth programs give athletes additional opportunities to train, compete, make friends, develop confidence, and continue growing in the sport. Future campaign support may help provide equipment, team resources, participation opportunities, coaching and player-development resources, clinics, training opportunities, and assistance that helps more athletes and families take part.

This future support is part of the larger Volley Vortex vision: creating a connected volleyball community across schools, clubs, leagues, tournaments, youth programs, clinics, open play, and training opportunities.

The goal is not simply to support one team or one event. The goal is to help build stronger pathways for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from first serves to finals, while making volleyball more welcoming and accessible throughout the community.
