Youth Outreach Fund

Our goal as DeLand Pride’s Youth Outreach Committee is to foster a sense of community and belonging to DeLand’s youth and young adults. We gather at least once a month to play games and have fun, and also to demonstrate for these young people how they can be both part of the LGTBQ+ community and productive members of society. 

In the past year, we hosted a back to school clothing swap, our first Pride Prom, and a three part professional development series. We are rapidly growing and looking to ensure that our growth is consistent and meets our community’s needs. Our organization depends on the support of friends and contacts in the business community.
