Gecko and Lizzie and a blind brother and sister duo from Brandywine SPCA. They recently saw an ophthalmologist where he ruled out anything structurally wrong with their eyes. During the neurologist appointment, it was determined that the best course of action would be an MRI (quoted at $4-$5K) to see if what they are dealing with is progressive and determine the best course of action moving forward. Although they've have a rough start and were discarded because of their disabilities, they have proven to be resilient, sweet and they bring smiles to anyone who meets them. As their current foster, I am working with a great team of volunteers and an expert in blind and deaf dogs to give them the best possible chance to lead a fulfilling and independent life.
