Since 2005, the Compassionate Communication Center of Ohio (CCCO) has been dedicated to bringing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to Central Ohio. Inspired by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg’s teachings, our journey began with a vision to foster connection, empathy, and understanding in individuals, workplaces, and communities.

Our work started with a successful effort to bring Dr. Rosenberg to Columbus for training, followed by years of workshops, conferences, and initiatives that expanded our impact. From workplace communication programs to parenting courses and intensive retreats, CCCO has grown into a thriving nonprofit, supported by dedicated leaders and community donors.

Through strategic leadership and innovation—especially during challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic—we’ve remained committed to making NVC accessible to all. Today, we find ourselves at a critical crossroads. Without securing the necessary support and resources, we will be forced to close our doors mid-year.
