Join us for this 21 years+ fundraiser that supports two local non-profit organizations and a communitywide effort that promotes early reading, screenings, and play across the region. The Friends of the Villa Park Library and Tri-Town YMCA have teamed up for this event to raise much-needed support for efforts such as 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Y Kids, and the new Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative's Saturdays Unplugged Series! Purchase your tickets by Thursday, May 30, and you will also receive three complimentary raffle tickets! We have set a goal to raise $10,000 in one evening and we hope that we can count on you to help make this happen! Gather up your friends and purchase your tickets to this exciting mini-golf journey through the stacks at the Villa Park Library. The evening will include entertainment, refreshments, premium raffles and auction prizes, and more! As you make your way around the circulation desk, you will find that it will be turned into a space where you can pick up some frosty beverages from Standard Meadery. Dress to impress - prizes will be given for the best book-themed team. We will also have prizes for the top men's, women's, and mixed teams as well as gimmicks along the 18-hole course. This scramble event will have a shotgun start promptly at 7:20PM. Doors open at 7:00PM. Not the best golfer? That's okay. We will have mulligans, string, and other ways for improving your score! If you have your own putter that you prefer to play with, you are welcome to bring it.
