Vita Poetica is project I co-founded and serve on as board president and managing editor of the journal. The project was born when friend and board member Lisa Shirk and I realized we shared a longing for deeper community among artists of faith. For me, writing has always been a way of grappling with meaning, a spiritual quest, and an act of hope. We need this now more than ever.
