Hi everyone! My name is Vritti Agrawal, and I’m super excited to be turning 13 on April 25th! Becoming a teenager is a big deal, and I thought a lot about how I want to celebrate it.

I love dogs and puppies so much (seriously — I could cuddle them all day!), but I also really love rabbits and pigeons. Animals make me so happy. But I know that not all of them are as lucky as the pets we see on Instagram or in happy homes.

So here’s my birthday wish:

Instead of gifts this year, I want to raise money for shelter animals in India who really need our help.

I’ve partnered with an amazing organization called SAFI – the Stray Animal Foundation of India. They rescue stray dogs, cats, cows, and even goats that are hurt, sick, or just abandoned. Right now, they care for more than 130 animals — giving them food, medicine, shelter, and so much love.

There are millions of stray animals in India. A lot of them are scared, hurt, or hungry. Some don’t survive. That breaks my heart. I want to help change that — even just a little.

Feed and take care of puppies, old dogs, and sick animals
Provide life-saving surgeries and vet care
Support spay/neuter programs so more puppies aren’t born into suffering
