Viet Voices is a San Diego-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering the Vietnamese community through civic engagement, arts and culture, public education, and grassroots organizing. Since 2017, we have been building community power in both Vietnamese and English for one of San Diego's most vibrant and resilient communities.

Today, we are asking for your support to fund our Banana Leaves Fellows program.

The Banana Leaves Fellowship is how we invest in the next generation of community organizers. Fellows learn the skills of grassroots organizing, civic education, and community-led campaigns. Our first cohort in 2025 built a get-out-the-vote campaign from the ground up, and the impact was real and lasting.

But we need your help to keep this program going.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our Banana Leaves Fellows as they continue their on-the-ground work that our community depends on: knocking on doors, building relationships, and ensuring Vietnamese San Diegans have a seat at the table.

Every dollar you give invests directly in a young organizer who looks like our community, speaks our language, and understands our struggles from the inside out.
