Help get Central Mass & Worcester DSA's question on the ballot

Complementing the statewide rent control ballot question, our public policy question goes further in demanding high-quality, publicly-owned, and democratically-managed housing for all people as a right, carried out with union construction and a tax on vacant properties, short-term rentals, and mansions.

With these funds, we'll reach working class people with a socialist message that highlights the source of the housing crisis — private ownership for profit.

Contribution rules
1. Your donation must be made from your own funds and not from another person or entity's funds.
2. Your donation must be made using your own personal card or personal (or joint) check and not with a corporate or business card or a card issued to another person.
3. Under campaign finance law, you must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (i.e. green card holder) to donate.
4. Public employees are allowed to donate to campaigns and volunteer on their own time, but public employees must never solicit (ask for) donations, which means no sharing this donation form even with their private social media accounts.
5. Donors under the age of 18 are restricted to contributing no more than an aggregate total of $25 to our committee in the course of the year.
6. While state law allows unlimited contributions to ballot question committees, we will refuse donations that would cause an individual's aggregate total to our committee for the year to exceed $4,999.
7. We do not accept donations from businesses or lobbyists.
8. We do not accept money orders, cashier's checks, or business checks.
9. If you contribute an aggregate total of $200 or more to our committee in a given year, we are required to ask for your occupation and employer and to publicly disclose this if you provide it. If you do not provide this information at the time we receive your contribution, we are required to make an additional written request specifically addressed to you within 45 days of receipt of the contribution that brought your aggregate total given to our committee to $200 or more for the year.
