Thank you so much for your interest in supporting our swim teams! The Irish Girls & Boys Swim Teams are two close-knit teams that work hard in both the pool and in the classroom. Our girls team just won the SJSL Caribbean Division and won their first playoff meet in 20 years. We are sending our medley relay to the Meet of Champions, along with two individual qualifiers. Several of our girls and boys swimmers qualified for the South Jersey Invitational Meet. Camden Catholic is one of the few Catholic schools in our area who is lucky enough to have separate boys & girls swim teams. These other schools have co-ed teams, where boys and girls swim together on one team. This gives both the boys and the girls less opportunities to swim in meets, and less opportunities to swim fair competition. Because CCHS has two swim teams, we have more expenses than co-ed teams. It is crucial that we have the funds to continue to have separate girls and boys teams so that our swimmers have as many opportunities as possible. With your donations, we can do so many things. Team suits, goggles, and swim caps are currently things that the swimmers need to purchase on their own. Donations would help to offset these costs for our swimmers.
