Wardlow Road (across Lakewood Blvd from Long Beach Airport) Long Beach, CA 90808 (562) 421-3388 Free parking Story Long Beach Century Club was formed in 1957 by 100 Long Beach sports enthusiasts who each contributed $100 and were expected to contribute 100 hours of volunteer work for the Club's activities. After all these years, dues remain at $100 per year! Membership is now roughly 400 members. Our annual Mayor's Trophy Golf Tournament, with Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson, is the Century Club's largest fundraising event each year. Our net proceeds from this tournament provide the funds for scholarships to high-achieving students from the high schools in the Long Beach Unified School District. We are most pleased to partner with Mayor Richardson on this event The event takes place at Sky Links Golf Course across from the Long Beach Airport on Thursday, September 12, 2024, with 144 golfers teeing off in a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Local restaurants provide snacks at a few holes along the golf course. After the golfers complete their rounds, all will meet back near the Sky Links clubhouse to enjoy dinner provided by Boathouse on the Bay and peruse the items available for the silent and live auctions, all the while being entertained by Gregg Young and the 2nd Street Band!
