When we first conceived the idea for MBB, we reached out to numerous organizations to assess the demand for our services. Our very first response came from Cozy Cat Cottage and our correspondence with them continued as we navigated the process of becoming an official 501(c)(3) organization. Once we were established and prepared to make our inaugural donation, we were honored to designate Cozy Cat Cottage as the first recipient.

Recently, their remarkable founder, Cindi Clum, reached out regarding their annual winter feral cat food drive event. The donations collected during this event are utilized by their associates and various other organizations involved in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, aiding in the feeding of cats after their release. Such programs are vital in reducing the population of stray animals on the streets, many of which sadly struggle to find a forever home.

Cindi informed us that they typically receive 50 to 75 bags of food donated each year and inquired if MBB would be willing to match the total collected from individual donations. We are excited to embrace this challenge and further our partnership with Cozy Cat Cottage and the many wonderful animals they support. To achieve this, we seek your assistance with our fundraising campaign. Thanks to the generous support from various businesses, we are committed to ensuring that our contributors receive more than just the rewarding feeling of helping these animals.

FUN FACT-every Tuesday evening CCC closes it's doors to the public, in order to run a Book Buddies reading program. During that time kids come in and spend time reading to the cats at the shelter. This is a great way for kids to practice their reading, while also showing some love to the felines waiting for their forever home.
