Downey Cooperative Preschool is located in the heart of Indianapolis’s historic Irvington district and has been serving children and their families for more than sixty years!

Our “learn-through-play” curriculum is based on Montessori and Reggio philosophies that are developmentally appropriate and focus on the whole child — including academics, social skills, and physical skills.

Our mission is to provide a nurturing, inspiring environment where children learn through play, exploration and connection.

This year we are Fundraising to continue offering our programs such as

Tuition assistance for families in need
Enrichment programs like music, yoga, outdoor learning (forest days)
Classroom upgrades including a large sensory board for all children to explore
Playground upgrades
