Joshua Arizmendi is a musical theatre producer and composer born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He showcases biblically inspired theatrical compositions that pull inspiration from the marginalized song-stories of his beloved community.

His curiosity for the unique sound of Christian musical theatre inspired him to discover local options... with no avail. Driven by frustration over a lack of local faith-based opportunities, Arizmendi started the Christ-centered theatre initiative which has since provided local creatives of all ages with a platform to exercise their callings. Then, what started out as a desire for more local opportunities, quickly evolved into an international partnership that’s resulted in the production of an album of numerous original songs of varying genres showcasing the hidden voices of his community.

Currently, Arizmendi is partnering with local musicians to create a second soundtrack for another production as he plans to perform his current production at different venues across Connecticut.
