This year, Ms. Shurney and the Eighth Grade Class will continue the long-standing and beloved DWS tradition of biking around Belle Isle. Early on Friday morning, October 25th, Ms. Shurney’s class will head to the "Jewel of Detroit" and bike laps around the island, some logging up to 25 miles and beyond!
Walk & Roll is our largest student-led fundraiser and an exciting way to get students engaged in fundraising. Each student is asked to raise $250 to help reach our school’s collective goal of $60,000.
