We are the Fourth Grade!
We are: Pedro, Luna, Giacomo, Cecelia, Lorelei, Chloe, Jessey, Soren, Sarah, Jacob, Benjamin, Matthew, Ewan, Joely, David, Joy, Gwendolyn, Julian, and Constantine, with Ms Shurney.

This year, the Fourth Grade Class will be walking 7 miles! For their service project, they will be volunteering at the neighborhood food pantry at Iroquois Lutheran Church. The church provides Detroit residents in need with programs that provide food, promotes the value of nutrition, increases self-sufficiency, and instills hope. The students will help the food pantry by sorting and packing non-perishable to-go food bags (this will be done outdoors). 

Donations in support of the Walk-a-Thon help to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the expenses of running the school.  The school’s goal is to raise $49,750 that will directly support the exceptional education that Detroit Waldorf School provides for our children.  To meet this goal, we need to raise an average of $250 per child.
