The 42nd Annual St. Rose High School Walk-A-Thon is Friday, October 4th

We are thrilled to announce that the 42nd Annual Walk-A-Thon will take place on Friday, October 4th! This long-standing tradition is a highlight of our school year, bringing together students, families, and the entire St. Rose community for a day of fun, camaraderie, and most importantly, philanthropy.

At St. Rose, we are blessed with the generous support of our families and alumni, which helps bridge the gap between tuition and the actual costs of running our school. Your contributions allow us to offer exceptional opportunities for our students, ensuring they "Be Known, Be Valued, Be Challenged, Be More" in their time here.

The Walk-A-Thon plays a vital role in supporting our Annual Fund, which addresses the immediate needs of our school—from instructional materials and staffing to extracurricular programs, student initiatives, and financial aid. It ensures that St. Rose remains a place where students can thrive academically, personally, and spiritually. This is the St. Rose advantage: a small school offering big opportunities.

Our Goal
This year, we are asking each student to raise a minimum of $50 to participate in the Walk-A-Thon. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our fundraising goal and strengthens the future of our school.

Start/End of Campaign
The campaign will open on September 26, 2024 and end on October 6, 2023 @11:59PM.

Incentives for Success
We believe in rewarding the hard work of our students, so we’ve set up some exciting incentives for grade levels that meet their fundraising targets:

Grade 9: Raise $5,000 or more, and the entire grade will earn a lunch pass to go out for lunch in downtown Belmar.
Grade 10: Raise $5,000 or more for a lunch pass to Belmar.
Grade 11: Raise $5,000 or more for a lunch pass to Belmar.
Grade 12: Raise $5,000 or more for a free excused tardy and a themed dress-down day.
School-Wide Bonus: If 95% of students participate, we’ll be granted a special Pastor’s holiday on Friday, May 23, 2025!

How You Can Help
We kindly ask all families to encourage participation by making a donation:

Preferred Method: Online donations can be made in the name of a student and/or a grade level.
Other Methods: Cash or checks (payable to St. Rose High School) can be dropped off at the Main Office or given to your student's homeroom teacher.

Important Reminders for Walk Day

Students must wear their SRHS Walk-A-Thon shirts and comfortable sneakers.
Appropriate bottoms for the day include sweatpants, jeans, or shorts, following our dress-down day guidelines.
