In Utah, 316,930 people are struggling with hunger, including 93,050 children. That’s 1 in every 6 kids who face the uncertainty of not knowing where their next meal will come from. These numbers aren’t just statistics—they represent families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors in our community who are currently experiencing hunger. Thanksgiving Heroes SLC, we find these figures both alarming and unacceptable. That’s why every year, we work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of those facing hunger in our local communities—one meal at a time.
