I’ve traveled to Guatemala many times and witnessed the severe impact of water contamination on the local communities. The pollution of bodies of water around Lake Atitlán is not just an environmental issue; it’s a public health crisis affecting families every day. Through my volunteer work with Water4Life Guatemala, distributing filtration systems to families in the region, I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing access to clean water can be.
