Giving Tuesday 2023-Watershed Restoration Program

Rural Action addresses water quality impairments in Appalachian Ohio by assisting communities with wastewater treatment and sedimentation, forging new collaborations to research endangered species and even turning acid mine drainage into paint. Our staff has served as leaders in stream restoration throughout Ohio’s coal region since 1994, so we work in partnership with communities to provide watershed management services to help ensure access to clean water for future generations.
