Waypoint Collective is a new Michigan nonprofit preparing young adults (18+) — including those aging out of foster care, facing housing instability, and navigating difficult backgrounds — to transition into independent, successful lives. We're building an integrated campus where residential housing, workforce development, and farm-based programming work together, not in silos.

Why this matters. 1 in 10 young adults in America experience homelessness in a single year. They're the ones who aged out of foster care, whose families couldn't house them, whose disability services ended at 18 — losing housing, work, and community all at once. Waypoint puts those pieces back together.

- Residential Housing — licensed Adult Foster Care homes where residents live with stability and dignity

- Workforce Development — real skills, real wages, and supported employment that lead to independent careers

- Farm-Based Programming — hands-on learning in food cultivation, land stewardship, and life skills

Four homes. One community. Up to 40 young adults at full capacity — each one moving toward a life they've built themselves.

Our $50,000 goal will prepare the founding campus and open AFC Home #1 in 2026. Every gift, at every level, brings us closer to opening the doors.
