Legal Analysis of Rental Control Ordinances

Help Us Oppose the Rent Control Ordinances

The Tenant-Landlord Coalition of Monterey is actively raising funds to challenge the Rent Stabilization or Control Ordinances in our county. Our initial emphasis is on those in the city of Salinas.  We are collaborating with local and regional law firms to thoroughly review the ordinance, identify legal avenues for opposition, and educate the public on the harmful impacts of rent control and stabilization measures.

Every dollar raised will be used to support legal challenges against this ordinance and to provide essential public education about its detrimental effects on both landlords and tenants. Together, we can protect a balanced and fair rental housing environment in Monterey County.
