here's the thing:
our nation's fired [& tired] workforce is going THROUGH IT.
they are desperate for clarity, eager for connection & validation, & in many cases, feel totally lost as they attempt to chart a healthy & hopeful path forward - personally & professionally.
how it started:
only two days after rebecca & i were laid off from our jobs in HHS in february 2025, we decided to do something - to create a soft landing for our former colleagues & holistically support them as they find their next right moves. a few phone calls & many canva designs later, our social impact start-up wellfed was born.
who we are:
wellfed was built from scratch from our shared expertise - in learning & development, retreat facilitation, workforce culture & well-being [ mixed with the undeniable logistical prowess of amanda, our director of operations & membership, and tiffany, our impact & community relations guru. ]
how we do it:
we curate a, holistic, meet-you-in-the-moment menu of career development workshops, expert-led small group sessions, networking events, storytelling practice, interview prep, upskilling, & wellness activities - all in the name of ensuring our members are truly wellfed.
our membership has grown to 3000+, representing over 45 agencies & operating divisions across government - as well as contractors, implementing partners, among others. & we're just getting started.

- expand & sustain our free virtual programs like sponsored meditation, mental health support, financial literacy, career development, and resume-building for our members.
- cover essential operational costs including software, website, marketing, Zoom, and database support for our 3000+ wellfed members.
