The Well Mental and Spiritual Care is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) practice of therapy/counseling, spiritual direction, and life coaching in the heart of Raleigh, NC. The Well is housed at Edenton Street United Methodist Church, one of our primary partners in this work. Our hope is to continually engage with other partners in the downtown community in order to collaboratively work to increase access to mental and spiritual care.

All the best things in life are born out of friendship. The Well is a dream that was incubated in friendship. In the spring of 2021, Rev. Amanda Rigby and Dr. Elizabeth Watters had a middle-of-the-night conversation about how to become partners in offering mental and spiritual care in the community. Several years of planning and dreaming later and The Well Mental and Spiritual Care was born in the summer of 2023.
