Welcome to our first text-to-donate for What the Funk?! 2026, the Pacific Northwest’s first all-BIPOC Burlesque festival! Brought to you by Puckduction, the Stay Up Late Show and, Stormy Chance, this marks our 7th rendition of bringing you three sizzling nights of acts paying homage to Funk music. We are actively fortifying and funkifying this festival right now so that our foundation is rock solid for our upcoming 10-year anniversary, which is only three years away.

Our core mission at Puckduction is to showcase the art of neo-burlesque and cabaret, both to entertain and to educate the general public about these profound art forms. More importantly, we are dedicated to providing safe spaces and equitable financial compensation for marginalized performing artists. By celebrating our performers locally, nationally, and internationally, we hope to inspire, offer vital representation, and shine a spotlight on the unparalleled creativity and talent found within the BIPOC Burlesque community.

To keep this festival thriving and to better support our artists, we are raising funds actively throughout the festival weekend via our text-to-donate link. The money raised during this campaign will go directly back into the community and production, specifically helping us to:

Secure housing for our Headliners and future out-of-town performers, ensuring they have safe and comfortable accommodations.
Raise the base pay for our burlesque performers, reflecting the true value of their incredible artistry.
Offer free workshops to our performers, removing financial barriers to education and skill-building within the arts.
Lock in a stipend for our dedicated production assistants (PAs) who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this massive event happen.
