At Spokane Angels, we walk alongside foster families through the real, often unseen parts of their journey—and this one is especially close to our hearts.

This incredible Spokane family has opened not only their home, but their hearts to love, sacrifice, and the hard but beautiful calling of keeping siblings together in care. Already parenting four biological children, they said yes to two more when it mattered most.

Now, with a family of eight, we’re rallying support to help them purchase a safe, reliable vehicle that fits everyone—and allows them to keep showing up fully for the children in their care.

While the family wishes to remain anonymous, we’re honored to share their story in their own words:

We are a family with four biological children, and in May of 2024, we opened our hearts and home to care for the infant son of a childhood friend. Over the past year, we’ve been navigating the ups and downs of life with five children.

Now, in June of 2025, we’ve accepted placement of his newborn brother, keeping the siblings together in a safe and nurturing home. We feel deeply called to step into this role and continue saying yes when it matters most—but with six children in our care, making us a family of eight now, our current vehicle is no longer safe or sustainable for our growing family.

We’re in need of a larger vehicle that can accommodate all of us and allow us to continue showing up fully for these children—whether it’s for appointments, school, visits, or just everyday life. Any support or guidance toward securing a safe, reliable vehicle would be a true blessing during this season of growth and service.
