For nearly ten years, the streets were the only home Wiggles knew. By the time Central Texas Feline Rescue brought him in, life outdoors had taken a devastating toll. He was severely underweight, living with FIV, and covered in mange and painful sores. With most of his fur gone, Wiggles was dangerously close to death.

Yet, underneath all that pain was a remarkably resilient spirit.

Over the past months, our team has worked tirelessly to nurse Wiggles back to health. With proper care, his fur grew back, his skin healed, and his sweet personality emerged. We even learned how he earned his name: the moment you scoop him up, he gives an enthusiastic wiggle-and-squirm until his paws are back on the ground. At eleven years old, Wiggles proved it is never too late for a second chance.
