Our precious Beagle was involved in an incident that resulted in a tear on his trachea. We had to take him to UGA animal hospital for emergency treatment. Under the vets recommendation, he needs to be admitted for 4 days, so they can keep him supplied with plenty of oxygen, pain meds, fluids, and have him under close observation to hopefully allow for his wound to begin healing on it’s own without surgical intervention.
With all of this wonderful medical care comes at an unfortunate medical expense. Beagle’s medical care is at an estimated cost of $4,000.00. For a small sanctuary like ours, this is a gigantic undertaking, especially when it’s unexpected. We appreciate every single donation towards his care. Beagle is our special boy. When he arrived here at the Sanctuary, he had lost most of his fur due to fleas and was nothing but a boney shell of a dog. Then to top it off, last night via his X-rays, we found out he had been shot with a pellet gun at one point in his life, still having the pellet in his thigh. Over the last year, we’ve been able to get Beagle to the chunky spoiled old man that he is but we now need your help to continue giving this sweet old boy the life deserves. Thank you to everyone who donated and shares. All donations are tax deductible.
