Sponsor a Tree • Make a Gift • Light Up Downtown ✨

There is something special about Downtown Medford when the trees begin to glow.

Each winter, thousands of twinkling lights transform Main Street and Vogel Plaza, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who lives, works, shops, dines, and celebrates downtown. What might look like a simple strand of lights becomes something much bigger — a reason to stroll a little longer, meet friends for dinner, visit a local shop, catch a show, and experience downtown during the winter months.

But those lights only happen because our community makes them possible.

The Downtown Medford Foundation is raising funds for Winter Lights, and we’re asking businesses, residents, property owners, and community partners to help us light Downtown Medford again this year.

Your contribution helps cover the cost of lighting the trees along Main Street and throughout Vogel Plaza, including installation, maintenance, removal, and the continued growth of the program.

Light a Tree. Light Up Downtown.

For $180, you can sponsor a tree for the season — or give any amount that is meaningful to you. Every donation brings us closer to our goal of $20,000 and helps create a downtown that feels bright, festive, and welcoming throughout the winter.

Winter Lights aren't just decorations. They help create the kind of downtown people want to visit and remember. They add energy during the darker winter months, support the businesses that call downtown home, and create a beautiful backdrop for holiday shopping, dining, entertainment, events, and time together.

Together, we can make Downtown Medford shine.

Sponsor a tree, make a contribution, or invite others to join you. With the support of our community, we can light Main Street and Vogel Plaza from mid-November through February and continue building this Downtown Medford tradition for years to come.

Help us turn on the lights. Give today. ✨
