Winter Newsletter
As the year winds down, we’re taking a moment to breathe in all the good that has happened on our little hilltop—because 2025 has been nothing short of transformational. Every corner of the shelter has been buzzing with energy: from new staff roles and expanded programs to community partnerships and a deeper commitment to giving every animal the best chance to thrive.
Most importantly, our community helped us surpass 500 adoptions this year—an incredible leap from the previous year, and a testament to what’s possible when compassion and teamwork collide. In November alone, we saw 58 adoptions, making it one of the busiest months in our shelter’s history.
Beyond adoptions, our staff has reunited lost pets with their families, transferred senior animals to specialized rescues, provided thousands of pounds of pet food each month through our Pet Pantry, and supported medical cases that would have been impossible without the community rallying with us.
This momentum didn’t just happen—it was built, one kind gesture at a time. One volunteer hour at a time. One shared Facebook post, one donation, one bottle-fed kitten, one scared dog finding trust again. Every person who touched this shelter helped us get here.
As we look toward to the future at expanded programs, and bigger dreams—please know this: you are part of this story. And because of you, hundreds of animals will spend this holiday season warm, safe, and deeply loved.
