West Michigan Author Alliance

The West Michigan Author’s Alliance is a year-round collective of more than 100 writers who find social and professional value in the art of crafting novels and short stories. Our community covers Kent, Ottawa, Ionia, Muskegon, Newagyo, Montcalm, Allegan, and Barry counties.

Our major community-writing event — That November Thing! — runs from mid October to mid December. In addition, the WMAA co-sponsors in-person writing conferences three or four times each year.
